remembering what takes your breathe away

This Tuesday I thought of having moms think back to moments that have taken your breath away.   Do you remember the last time you saw the perfect pink sky?  Maybe you were on a trail walk and came to a bend in the path when the views were something you had never seen before.  These moments don’t have to be in nature, it could be when you see your significant other all dressed up and across a crowded room.  Or for a split second before your 5 year old gets on the school bus, he turns and says Mom, I love you.

So, here’s a challenge.  Think about it and when it happens, when that moment happens when something takes your breath away – take time to enjoy it.  We all need to live in the now more, it allows us to really cherish everything that is around us every day.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away.” – Hilary Cooper
